Kelly Deis is the President and Founder of Soundpoint Consulting. She has an MBA from the Wharton School, training at a top-tier consulting firm and senior-level management experience at several Fortune 500 companies. Kelly brings experience and knowledge to valuation, exit planning, and business and financial consulting engagements.

Kelly’s 20 years of experience spans multiple industries including retail, wholesale, manufacturing, financial services, health care and real estate, enabling her to offer clients a fresh perspective on their businesses.

With extensive expertise in business valuations and exit planning, her strengths include business planning, value enhancements, operational improvements, organizational restructuring, financial modeling, management reporting, benchmarking and turnarounds.

Prior to founding Soundpoint Consulting, Kelly was a Senior Engagement Manager with Deloitte Consulting and held senior level management positions at Signet Bank (Wells Fargo), Providian Financial (JP Morgan Chase) and Davita. She started her career as a project engineer at Chevron.

Kelly has an extensive educational background including an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University.

She is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), Certified Exit Planning Analyst (CEPA) from the Exit Planning Institute (EPI) and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) from the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA). She is also trained in Collaborative Law and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

Kelly is the Treasurer and Board Member of Bainbridge Youth Services and a member of Bainbridge Island Rotary.
